MAGIX
System Highlight s
• System Networking: You can link multiple offices together and share voice, data and video communications. You can connect with other MAGIX or Definity systems using a Unified Dial Plan (UDP) that speeds call-set-up and gives the appearance of a single site to your callers. – Create a private network with T-1 circuits or TIE lines that can transfer extension names and numbers between sites, and provide high-speed voice/data links (up to 64 or 128 Kbps). – Tandem switching within the private network for lower cost shared facilities (e.g. reduce costs by routing calls over your private network or by calling at local rates through another site). – Remote call forwarding using Centrex circuits. This feature allows networking of sites with Centrex lines. Now you can route calls from an automated attendant to another site using the same Centrex line the call originated on, freeing that line for another call after the transfer is complete.
Enhance your customer service while reducing costs! Now you can answer calls quickly, efficiently and professionally 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Route calls automatically to individuals, departments/calling groups, or to routine "bulletin board" announcements. Offer your callers personal, confidential and accurate messaging. Benefits of voice messaging: • Time savings: voicemail reduces telephone tag because all calls go through • Lower costs: voicemail can significantly reduce toll costs because callers can leave detailed messages and eliminate call backs by as much as 55%. • Reduced paperwork: voicemail replaces costly internal memos with fast accurate voice messages. Experts say written memos can cost up to $65 each to create, review, copy and send. • Increased productivity: messages are faster, easier to store and more private than written messages. Voicemail and automated attendant can free staff for other duties, or reduce the need for additional staff. • Better customer service: spoken messages are 6 times more effective than written messages because they convey emotional content. • Improved communications: 24 hour access for customers, home offices and traveling staff; immediate message notification; multiple languages for global markets; appended messages before forwarding; broadcast message groups There are several MAGIX voice-messaging systems to choose from, including:
- Grows to 12 ports and 200 mailboxes - Four automated attendants, each with day & night service, & unique operators. - Employee name directory - Length of caller's message ranges from 2 to 60 minutes - Mailbox storage ranges from 5 to 180 minutes - Warning message when mailbox is 80% full - FIFO or LIFO message retrieval by extension - Message notification outdialing to 5 locations - Security violation notification with mailbox locking option - 1 or 2 language support (English, French, Spanish) - Mailbox user can define personal operator when caller presses 0 - Automatic fax tone detection - Message forwarding to another mailbox with attached comments - Choice of same or different greetings for internal and external messages. 2.
